Story Sourcing Project

The purpose of the Story Sourcing Project is to create a generative, participatory experience to help articulate stories of the participants, programming, and a vision for growth for expanding programs.

Have you ever noticed that it’s usually your grant writer sitting siloed with a deadline at hand summoning stories of your organization? I have been that grant writer! And through that process, I realized that I was telling stories that weren’t mine to tell. I designed this process so that I can work in collaboratively with organizations and their communities and we could collectively decide how to tell stories with dignity, learn moments of celebration, and invite participants to help decide what they want and need to share in grant applications.

We meet regularly over the course of 12 weeks through meetings and feedback groups with your board, advisors, program participants, their families (if desired), and community members
